#7keys #TransparaTrade #EndModernSlaveryNow
Empowerment Collective was founded by survivor of modern slavery Nasreen Sheikh. It is a 100% survivor-led organization that utilizes circular leadership models to advocate for seven key human rights: nature, water, food, healthcare, housing, education, and technology.
These rights are foundational to Nasreen's TransparaTrade initiative, her philosophy which comprises a three-part plan aimed at solving the issues of modern slavery and climate crisis by 2030. This initiative, utilizes survivor leadership to radically address the interconnected relationships between these issues.

Our Approach
We focus on elevating survivor leadership through dedicated support and empowerment. By providing grants in key areas such as cultural arts preservation, youth visionary, education and awareness, and survivor leadership projects, we aim to cultivate environments where survivors can lead a generational change into the future. Each grant is designed to tap into the deep well of survivor experience, encouraging projects that not only heal and empower individuals but also resonate with broader community needs.
Purpose and Impact
The purpose of our philosophy is holistic—it’s not just about ending modern slavery, it is about transforming the societal conditions that allow it to exist. By listening to and supporting the visions of survivors, we ensure that our strategies are informed and led by those most affected by these issues. This approach amplifies survivor voices in public discourse, policy development, and community engagement, creating a powerful ripple effect that promotes generational change.
Book Our Survivor-Led Presentations
Empowerment Collective specializes in offering influential speeches, webinars, and keynote presentations by persons with lived experiences of modern slavery. Our speakers share their personal stories and insights with schools, corporations, foundations, and community groups eager to learn about ending modern slavery.
These presentations not only educate but also inspire action, emphasizing the critical role of survivor-led advocacy. Invite one of our survivors to speak at your next event to enlighten your audience.
